The following diploma level programs each of three years (six semesters) duration are offred :

Textile Technology

60 seats

Textile Design

40 seats

10% seats over and above the intake are reserved for handicaps, women and economically weaker sections under the Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme of the Punjab Govt. Under This scheme the candidate should have passed the JET.

Admission to all the above three courses is made purely on the basis of merit in the joint entrances test (JET) being conducted by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Sec. 36-a, Chandigarh. Eligibility to appear in the JET is pass in matriculation with pass in English, Math’s and Science. JET is conducted in the month of May/June each year and admission is done through counseling in the month of July/Aug. The date of JET and schedule of admission is published in all the leading newspapers by Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Chandigarh.
