The Institute has workshops/ laboratories of spinning, weaving, Mechanical, Dyeing and Printing, Inspection and Quality control. These are well equipped with the Modern machinery. The weaving workshops has power looms with Jacquards and Dobbies, Winding Machines, Automatic looms and one Dornier Shuttleless Loom. Similarly in the handloom section handlooms are equipped with jacquards and Dobbies.
The Spinning workshop has one N.S.E. Automatic Blow room line with one scutcher having automatic lap Doffing System, One conventional Card, One high speed Card, Conventional D/F and One High Speed D/F with Auto leveler and one simplex machine and Two Ring Frames and One fancy Doubling Machine.
The Laboratories of Dyeing and Printing and Inspection and quality control are well equipped with all necessary machines/ equipments to impart the required knowledge and skill in the subjects. As part of the curriculum, the students are sent to the textile industry for industry based minor and major projects and industrial trainning. For employment, the textile industry prefers the students of PITT because the institute imparts the best possible education with great emphasis on the practical aspect.
PITT has a well equipped computer facility centre. It is manned by the competent staff. This centre is fully air conditioned and furnished with all modern facilities. The computer facility centre has over fifty computers, Server, Scanner, Digital printers, CD Writers, UPS, LCD projector, etc. The institute has access to the latest world wide information through internet facility.
Besides this, this centre has software like AutoCAD, Autotex, MS office, Coral Draw, Oracle and Siri Lipi. The whole lab is networked and has high powered windows NT. This computer centre is largely used both by the staff and students. All the staff members have got computer awareness Training / Preliminary knowledge of computer in CFC. The computer centre has collection of slides of technical subjects of Diploma progrmme in Textile technology (weaving) and Textile Design. Al these slides are prepared by the staff of PITT. The PITT library has collection of over five thousands technical books worth rupees over twenty lacs. This collection includes latest edition relating to Textile Technology (Spinning), textile Technology (Weaving) and Textile Design Courses. There is special provision of books to the students of scheduled caste and backward classes under the book bank scheme. The students and staff members make optimum use of the library. The library subscribes to Technical and other journals and also dailies.
A boys Hostel of sixty seats facility is available in the college.
